Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

Hold to Sold™ is a modern luxury consignment service that provides expert listing, marketing, buyer communication, and payment processing for qualifying handbags. Sellers retain possession of their bag until it is sold, then ship it directly to the buyer.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To participate, items must meet the following:

Louis Vuitton bags only
Valued at $1,500+
Very Good to Excellent condition
Authenticated by a trusted source (we can assist with recommendations)
Odor-free (no smoke, mildew, perfume, etc.)

3. Fees & Payments

A non-refundable $55 listing fee is due per bag at time of acceptance
Upon sale, a 20% commission is deducted from the final selling price
Seller is responsible for any transaction (PayPal, Venmo, etc.) and shipping fees
Payout is sent after the buyer receives and accepts the item

60 day exclusivity period – if the item is sold elsewhere, we are still entitled to full commission

4. Pricing Agreement

Hold to Sold™ will recommend a competitive market price and a floor price (lowest accepted offer)
Seller must approve all pricing before the listing is published
No items will be sold below the agreed floor price without written consent

5. Seller Responsibilities

Provide clear, accurate photos (photo guidance will be provided)
Approve pricing recommendations promptly
Retain and store the bag safely during the listing period
Package and ship the bag promptly upon sale
Cover the cost of shipping, insurance, and delivery confirmation
Must add full-value insurance and require signature upon delivery

6. Liability & Risk

Seller is fully responsible for the item until it is delivered and accepted by the buyer
Hold to Sold™ is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items in transit
Failure to ship promptly or follow shipping instructions may result in cancellation of the sale

7. Communication & Support

Sellers will receive one-on-one communication throughout the process
